Wolfgang Korn bridges melodic house and neo-classical composition, blending the two into something both propulsive and contemplative. Classical music was ever-present in his German childhood — the world-famous tenor Peter Schreier is a distant relative — until Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here jolted him into a new musical sphere that still resonates. Echoes of Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis, and Röyksopp run through his textures and evocative melodies. By day, he is a physician-scientist, internationally known for his cancer research.
